Connecting people with the past through historical research, collections, and community history.

I am a historian and curator interested in the preservation, interpretation, and communication of history. My work primarily focuses on local history, archival research, collections management, and public-facing historical interpretation. I hold additional research interests in medieval Europe, Frisian history, heraldry, and genealogy. I am particularly interested in how historical collections and community stories illuminate the past and help people better understand the places they call home.
